If you are thinking of starting a blog and only writing to it part-time, then a hobby blog is definitely the way to go.
So many people out there are saying that you should not create a blog that is meant to be as one of your hobbies, because the blog isn’t going to gain any traction or make you any money so it’s useless and pointless to add another null blog to the already saturated blogosphere.
There is nothing wrong with starting a blog as a hobby, most bloggers that are rich today from blogging started their blogs out as hobby blogs, so a hobby blog today could be a multi-million dollar blog tomorrow.
Why start a hobby blog? People start these kind of blogs for many reasons, but most people start them to start up something that will soon become amazing. And if you’re wondering how some part-time blog can later become amazing, I will tell you this…
when certain people start blogging as a hobby, they are not out there just blogging to make a quick buck like most new bloggers are, which leads them to later quitting, hobby bloggers are blogging as a way to express themselves when they feel they need to, but the kicker is that they are blogging about something that they care about, something that they know a lot about – which means that they are passionate bloggers, they’re just not putting all of their passion into the blog on a daily basis.
If you are new to blogging and have never created a blog before then you have all the more reason to start your blog out as a hobby.
Whenever you are ready to get the ball rolling, you can create that hobby blog of your dreams by heading on over to Blogger and setting up your first successful blog. Don’t worry, setting up a blog with Blogger is free to do so you don’t have to worry about spending any money at all.
