The End Of Internet Marketing As We Know It (Pt3 Blogging)

This is a review on blogging and its supposed death that all of the gurus are always talking about. I am going to be looking over the reasons why they say this and finding out if what they say is true.

Blogging Is Dead

The whole idea of blogging being dead means that there is to be no more creating blogs or websites, as there is no longer any need for it. It’s now useless and no one should be spending time creating any websites or starting any blogs. There is no longer a reason to write content for your blog if you have one.

The Story Behind Blogging Ending

No one really knows as to why the death of blogging was issued, maybe it just seemed like the right thing for the gurus to put out there, I mean everything else was being killed off, why not blogging too?

Yet again the assassin is “social media”… again? I have a question here: “is there ever going to be some other assassin besides the almighty social media networks?”.

If this doesn’t have “they don’t know what the um they’re talking about” written all over it, then I don’t know what does. It seems that everything is now dead because of social media – give me a break.

What I Think About It All

I think that blogging is forever going to be around no matter how much people say that it is old, or outdated or useless, or being replaced by social media – as everything nowadays is supposedly replaced or being replaced by social media.

To be completely honest blogging is just getting started, due to the fact that it continues to evolve more and more on larger scales. If you take a look at one of the popular social media networks that is “taking blogging out”, which is titled: Twitter, you will notice that Twitter itself is nothing more than people writing short blog posts (which is actually blogging), just like Tumblr, as well as other social sites.
